About Big A Brand

Big A Brand's quality control begins in the field with an irrigated pest management system. The different types of soil in the area are graded for specific apple growth. For instance heavy clay loam soil which stays cooler is excellent for Macintosh apples, and lighter sandier soil is better for larger apples such as Red Delicious . They also purchase apples from several local growers in the area. They use a team of field managers to ensure only quality fruit is used for the Big A Brand apple. In fact every load of fruit is inspected when it arrives at the plant to be stored, and when it is shipped out to be sold.
